Zij huwde een chirurg (Jerry Vlasak op 12.10.1886) en kreeg 2 kinderen. Op 11 januari 2000 kreeg zij 6 maanden gevangenis straf voor haar activiteiten als dierenactiviste in een circus tegen het gebruik van de dieren aldaar in augustus 1999. na 30 dagen kwam ze weer vrij.
