* 1953, has studied at the California College Arts and Crafts, National Academy of Fine Arts, New York, and at the Art Students League of New York. She has exhibited in a group shows including “Exhibition of Works by Grant Winners,” Cork Gallery, Lincoln Center, New York, NY; National Academy of Design, 175th Annual Exhibition, and Face to Face: Contemporary Portraits, Concordia Gallery, Bronxville, NY. Ellen has been a part of Forum Gallery’s roster since 2000.
As a contemporary artist, she has mastered the use of pastel drawing to produce intimate portraits of friends and family. Each work invokes subtle and new ways to capture the look or feel of a person. Tranquil and delicate, her imagery becomes more than just a picture, but a representation of life. -Forum Gallery
