Very handsome, dark-haired actor of stage, film and TV who convinces as standard heroic types but has revealed a wider range. Campbell acted in regional theater before gaining widespread notice playing Luke Fuller, Steven Carrington's lover, on the venerable ABC primetime soap "Dynasty" from 1984-85. Sadly his character failed to survive the infamous "Moldavian massacre" end-of-season cliffhanger, but he later became a regular as rookie Detective Joey Indelli on the stylish cop drama, "Crime Story" (NBC, 1986-88). Campbell's career in features got a boost with the starring role of THE ROCKETEER (1991), a pleasant WWII-era superhero tale from Disney. He subsequently did well as self-styled cowboy Quincy Morris in Francis Ford Coppola's BRAM STOKER'S DRACULA (1992) and also acted in the lavish Civil War epic GETTYSBURG (1993).

Campbell returned to TV in 1993 for a brief stint as the star of "Moon Over Miami," a romantic detective series on ABC and, more interestingly, in a well-rounded portrayal of a gay character in the acclaimed PBS presentation, Armistead Maupin's TALES OF THE CITY.

Dit is een tasmelijk onbekende, maar desalniettemin een heel aardige schience fiction film, met een redelijk origineel verhaal en een paar onbekende maar goede acteurs. Menno (Bill Campbell) is een programmeur die zich bezig houdt met ‘Virtual reality’ in opdracht van de overheid. Daar kan je mooie dingen mee doen besef ook dictator in spe Felix Medina (Corbin Brensen), die sinds zijn succes in L.A.Law vooral in B-films te zien is geweest. Hij wil Menno dwingen zijn kennis te gebruiken om het volk een valse werkelijkheid voor te spiegelen, zodat hij zelf de macht kan grijpen.
