Protean "downtown" performance artist whose acclaimed one-man shows established him as one of the wittiest, most incisive chroniclers of the bloat and sleaze of the 1980s. Bogosian made his film debut in BORN IN FLAMES (1982) and is most widely known as the combative deejay Barry Champlain in TALK RADIO (1988), which he adapted from his stage play with director Oliver Stone.
