Education: St. Peter's College

Played leads and supporting parts in many films of the 50s and 60s, often as a restive young man,

but he was best known to American audiences as star of "The Rebel" TV series. He was nominated for

an Oscar as best supporting actor in TWILIGHT OF HONOR (1963). His death was caused by

an overdose of drugs he was taking for a nervous disorder.
