ADRIANUS van CANTERBURY
Heilige (± 630-710)
Benedictijn uit Afrika. Omstreeks 650 was hij abt op Isola di Nisida bij Napels. Met Theodorus,
die tot bisschop van Canterbury was benoemd, trok hij naar Engeland, waar hij in genoemde stad
een abdij bestuurde en een school stichtte.
Hij stierf te Canterbury in 710. Feestdag 9 januari
